bsp in progres
than its finished
than he says
Build completede![biggrin]Warning no bsp file has been created[mad]


What the hell what must i do plz help[mad]

move all the custom maps and mods

WARNING: node with unbounded volume

to get rid of these, select your WHOLE map... make a brush that covers all the map, right click on it in the 2D area, then go to 'Select>Select Inside' and copy it, open a new map and paste

also enable -verbose in the BSP, VIS and FLARE options to give more info

This is probably why it is not getting to the point of writing your .bsp file. Not sure how to fix it, maybe someone will stop by and post some help or theirs a topic about how to fix this problem already.

This is the worst of all errors. Code bug: Triangulation failed has struck me about a year ago.

Just a couple of suggestions how to solve it, I'm not completely sure. I'd just experiment.

Make a backup!

Press I. This will select everything.
Start a new map. It will ask you if you want to copy selection. Say yes, now compile.

Or if A has failed, try B:

Press I.
Press 2 or 3.
Press CTRL+G.

This will align all brushes.

My guess is you have one of those brushes that become unselectable. Maybe you have been playing with a brush's vertices. You can do that, but it's dangerous if it takes an odd shape. You might try, if your maps not all too large, select every brush.

To avoid any compile errors, make a prefab or everything you make. Build a house, make a prefab, then put it in the big project. Terrain is the only thing pretty much supposed to be in your big project, it has to be CAP'ed for the textures to look good.
