When I try to open any map file in hammer I get this error. Code: File C:\rly.vmf, line 737: unterminated string or string too long Help please.

sounds like your file is corrupt. can you open any maps files at all? If the file is corrupt, then try and read through it in notepad. try and see what might be wrong. If something in the file is "unterminated", then look for an open bracket "{" that doesn't have a matching closing bracket "}". This has happened in other game programs before. So maybe it has happened to you here.

I can't open any files so idk what's up. I'll check the coding in the map files and get back to you.
