I have a large freestanding stone wall in my map that curves around a large building. One section of this wall is broken(ruins). This bit of wall sits at roughly a 30 degree angle, so needs rotating to be put in place. Now as my broken bit of wall is made up of a 8 or 9 pieces, when i rotate all the brushes become distorted.

I thought i would get around this by making this little bit of wall into a prefab and then rotating it as one to eliminate distortion. I followed the instructions in this thread:

http://www.modsonline.com/Forums-top-21924-.html%23121248

However when i load my prefab it doesnt show up, it says it loaded successfully, but i can only see a little blue cube, checked my filters etc, any idea what I am doing wrong?

Seems your prefab will be incorrect.
Open your prefab like a map and look if there is anything in.
If it's empty you did something wrong.

Go back to your map select all brushes and xmodels you want to have in your prefab. After you have selected all things you want in, click on File -> Save selected... and save it to the folder prefabs.
Second way: After you have selected all things you want to have in your prefab select File -> New map and answer the question "Copy selection" with yes. Now you have a new map with all the things selected before. Save this map in the folder prefabs.

Hmm still struggling. When i load the prefab like a map, it is there. I have made the same prefab 3 times using all the different methods. They all seem fine until it comes to placing them in my map. All that shows is a little blue square and when i deselect it dissapears
