hey,

are u sick of waiting hours to compile?

well to compile your map really fast so u can see if u fixed bugs ect. simply make a leak in ure map and it will compile fast.

the only thing this does is make the lighting everywhere 300 (max) so if u want to do lighting u may want to do that last after u finished the map

my map compiles in seconds and i dont make leaks in my maps. i use CoDBuilder....

If u make a leak in the map and then compile it via CoD Pilar it wont create an .bsp... [pimp]

if your map leaks - you would be very lucky to actually compile and create a bsp

if you want to compile vast - i suggest you just turn vis to fast and dont do flare

purposefully creating an error in your map is just plain ridiculous as the whole point of mapping is to create a good product - what is the rush? [angryalien]

i have to agree,
why the rush, also is it indead better to chnage to vast vis instead of making a leak.
i'm just repeting the others so i stop, but i have to agree with all of them.
still, i can imagen that you did think this. in my early mohaa days i did the same with making a leak.

I use a regular .bat file to compile and it works every time leak or not I always get a new .bsp

Does making the VIS option faster have any adverse effects on the map? what about making Flare faster too?
