hey mate another thing if u cant delete it maybe you have something else selcted so press escape button a few times and then hold down the shift button and click on the picture in the cartoon screen or 3d screen then press the backspace button and there ya go its deleted.. good luck mate bodyguard

it might also help to move the camera around a bit. e.g: closer or rotate it. Sometime you need to be at a certain angle or distance to be able to select the object
