what is a good way to sellect a backdrop? i always select the skybox when i try to select the backdrop.

I'm not entirely sure what you're asking. Could you elaborate a little and describe what you're trying to do and what the error is, if applicable?

Check out the buttons in your toolbar. There's a prohitory sign with an "S" in it (aka, circle S). That'll turn off selecting the skybox while it's depressed. The circle E sign prevents selecting models. Just deselect those buttons to let you select the sky and models again.
