i havent read the whole post but, i have to ask what exactly the problem is.

if the map is not compiling, post your entire compile log (all 3 stages)

if he map is compiling but not loading - turn off pure ....

load cod2mp

click start a new server

click pure off

press ~

type developer 1

press enter

type map yourmapname

press enter

ok - i think both of you are having the exact same problem

i need you both to go to the microsoft windows update and select custom update and update your .net framework

then update your directx to the latest (i was unaware until very recently that there are different versions of directx9.0c)

plus...are you getting a windows error message at all when you run the compile?

such as missing d3dx9_27.dll?

if so google that dll and download it.

place that file in .../call of duty 2/bin/

then close out the compiler, restart your computer and try again - see if that works

i'm still having the same problem. I got the latest .NET Frameworks. the latest directx update. Downloaded the .dll file and still getting the same compile log.

no idea whats going on.

maybe there is something with ur map?
try to compile another map for example in ur map_source folder the mp_test.map

but i dont know i ve just started to map with CoD2
