you don't have to tick the "connect paths"that's for SP, not MP. A subdirectory or file E:\Games\Call of Duty 2\main\maps\ already exists. A subdirectory or file E:\Games\Call of Duty 2\main\maps\mp already exists. 1 file(s) copied. CoD2Map v1.1 (c) 2002 Id Software Inc. / Infinity Ward ---- cod2map ---- ----- FS_Startup ----- Current search path: E:\Games\Call of Duty 2\bin/main .... also... your compile log seems to be missing some things.. Where is your compiler pointing to (what's in the grey box in the left top corner?).

hmm in your black window: CoD2Map v1.1 (c) 2002 Id Software Inc. / Infinity Ward ---- cod2map ---- v1.1 I use german Cod2 version and my Cod2 version is 1.0 and if there are missing some thinks in my compile log what i must do?? and this map wich i ll compile is a sp map edited on Feb. 26, 2007 10:33 am by dakingjhnny

Try to compile again with the settings that you posted that you use but check that the name of the map you are compiling isnt starting with "mp_" Good Luck with this. Have faith it will work sometime soon. Also make very sure that you dont have any mods or custom maps in your /main file folder. Thought this post looked familiar. I am getting the problem too. And i am making a multi player map. i get the error Could not load file "C:\Gaming\Games\Call of Duty 2\main\maps\mp\mp_test.d3dbsp No idea what wrong though
