hi, long time since i have been signed in and mapping, i want to start again as my last attempts were disasterous due to technical F****** problems, so i have decided to try and make what ever map some lucky person wants lol, so give me your ideas and i will try to do the best i can. hope every one on modsonline is doing well btw

Ide pick something you are interested in. Try thinking of maybe a hobby or intrest, just for example lets say you like 'fishing', well you could then build a lake based map etc..

My advice... Pick a style of map (France, Holland, Africa) and type in battles, towns, operations etc, involved in the conflicts during WW2 and look for photos, pictures, aerial photos... Have fun...

Elim made a good post showing how a simple google image search can be the inspiration for your map. If you want something historical, google a historical battlefield/site. Check out his post here.
