this is my fist map so check it out and tell me what you think. I will upload it 2/22/07 ive tested and review 100's of custom maps on my servers DAZED&CONFUZED all this year so i tryed to make a playable map that looked clean. been off work and spent all month on this" 12hr day's sometime's". we like it ! I did add 4 or 5 prfabs at the end next time ill do more scripting, this one i move the sun ,changed color, added fog, and lightining at sun set. i cant even believe i did it, never touched a computer till last year[14 months ago i couldnt turn it on or off lol ] now im overbourd 1 pc for gaming and mapping 1 for rcon, scripting, and mods and 2 servers 1 in california and one in seattle.
want to do a lot more cant wait till the cod4 comes out and more tools.CTRA COL.MAC

sorry for the delay in my map mcaffee cashed the compiler
auto update's was on so i started new full compiles thursday at midnight it's saturday noon it's going to take a while longer i see. i will release it as soon as its ready

toldly cool screenshots i see you have the map what you think?

I like it....I like the atmosphere, craggy terrain around
the edges , low sun and lightning.

It's fairly open in the middle so the fog should cut down the
snipers a bit.

I haven't played it with anyone yet though.

What would you say if we put your new map up as the first custom map on the new map server?

wow that would be very cool lts free to everyone i dont know what to say ....yes anything you guys like is fine by me one of my servers has be going dry all week im moving it to 1.3 calledDAZED&CONFUZED i think hackin has become way overbourd lately 1.0 servers

i think everything looks great, especially for a first time mapper. the only thing i can think of to be fixed or tweaked is the fog color. The sunset skybox and the white fog don't mix very well and kinda take away from the realism of the map, so I'd either make the skybox a white one so the fog woul blend into it or id make the color of the fog more red/orange/brownish to mix with the skybox
