I have a map with sunset, and want to make it to be creapy rainning night.

So I started with rain script, lightnings and smoke.
Lightnings and smoke works perfectly (more or less )[lol] but would like now to change period of the day and of course add the rain :)

Rain scripts I have tested are not working :(
I would like also if I could use rain script at dx7 and dx9. Is it possible?

Can someone help me pls?

I don't know anything.. and trying to figure that out. I have tried to find resolutions for my "problems" but haven't found anything that I could use with my knowladge.

You open your .map file in Radiant and then change the worldspawn settings and skytexure. If you don't have the .map file, you shouldn't be altering anything to begin with (not even adding rain etc).

The rainscripts should be working.. you maybe did something wrong. The rain is an effect, which will be visible both in DX7 and DX9.

I thought that kind of things could be accomplished with GSC scripts. Now I'm bit disappointed to realize that.

Thx for info.

Should be efects be working no metter what kind of map is?
If it's sunny, if the script is correct, it should rain. Am I right?

.gsc effects are rather limited in their use, if you don't have the .map file to add things too (like worldspawn settings, triggers and script_brushes and script_models).

Yes, effects should be working if the scirpt is correct.

in the .map file. There is a tutorial on how to put the worldspawn settings in your map (it's in the CoD tutorial section).
