Maybe , if you make an update one day you should try to convert the sound file hunt.wav ( 54 MB ) to mp3 format... Just a suggestion

Also a sound file to the filesize above is very extravagant and may put people of a map which may be brilliant.

got Broadband, so a 70MB file not an issue for me, LOL

Anyway played through some of it, and very impressed, although the crossfire the enemy lay down doesn't seem to be very effective, I could walk up fairly easily up close before getting caught in the crossfire.

Keep the good work up though.

As for The Hunt for Red October...i made it into a .wav thinking it might take up less space than an mp3. It was also easier to modify it as a Wav file.

And the enemy's crossfire, as you said Spike, doesnt seem effective. True. But I dont really know how to explain that, besides the fact that the map is huge, and battles are fought across a great surface. That seems to be a logical explanation i guess.

But at least the mission is feasible, and not too difficult and frustrating.

Spikenaylor I'm very happy you have a broadband... but its not the question here.. The problems are that not everyone have broadband and the size of the file will effraid people. Some people have download limits also, etc...

Like you I don't care I have a 20MB connection, unlimited upload/download, unlimited bandwidth but again its for the others.

.wav are bigger then mp3. mp3's are 10 times smaller then .wav...should help for the size of the map.

OMG...what was I thinking?! wavs are bigger than mp3's....duh!

I thought the map was quite brilliant especially the ending. If you ever consider making anymore single player missions I be waiting eagerly. I don't know how too map at all but if I could I always wished for a excellent sniper mission. Germans vs Russian in an atmosphere similar to the movie Enemy at the gates where you have to move cover to cover building to building taking out enemy snipers.

Concerning Enemy at the Gates single player sniper style mission, its also something i've always wanted to do...maybe in a near future...

But i have good news ! the 70 mb download will be history!
i finally converted the big wav file into an mp3 file...thus making this a 25 mb download instead!

i will be uploading the new Leningrad soon. so you might want to wait before downloading the old...bulky...version.
