Yeah, I sent Foyleman a PM with some possible suggestions, and I think I mentioned that. What I said was that it would be cool to have a short companion PDF, and that would be perfect for the coding stuff. Like, he could be halfway through a tut and say something like, 'now we program this entity to do this, pause the video and refer to section x of the coding companion', you know?

Hehehe, I think we'll scare Foyle away with this workload! Shhhh, don;t let him hear! ;)

DVD tutorials usually cost $300+ for stuff like this (ie Maya Tutorials/Photoshop Tutorials/C++ Tutorials/etc...)

3DBuzz has some neat free ones but those are out dated for the software out now.

Well, I wouldn't say $300+, but they can be expensive. I think the most I've paid for a DVD tutorial was £60 (about $100).

The lower the price, the more attractive the offer, I guess. I mean, even if the book turned out to be a load of crap (which it didn't), the price was very reasonable indeed, so I wouldn't have been too bothered.

I had thought of doing something similar. I found that writing really wore me out. I spent a little more than a year writing two books and that meant no time for fun for that whole year. However, I think I might enjoy doing a DVD set of tutorials. Would that be of interest or do you prefer the written content better?

BTW: Thank you all for the great words.

I have the book also, very good job Foyleman. I would be very interested in anything you could put together. Thanks!
