Just hav a simple question to you...can someone tell me where I can download the CoD2-editor - I'm really fed up with thoose beta-versions...

thanks now I've got it but there're four problems:
1. Why/how can I render my map with the camera?

2. why are all the textures just red or blue when I apply them to a brush??

3. And how can I load other maps in the editor, because I tried to load several maps but everytime the progamm was just shut down...

4. oh and is there annother possibility to compile my map when my compile tools dont work?

1) ? not sure what you want to do?

2) your video card does likely not support dx9 - get a new one

3) sounds like a hardware issue - perhaps not enough memory?

4) the compile tools work, if you are receiving an error or there is an error in your .map then it wont complete the compile - post any error you receive for further help

No. 3 sounds like custom maps and mods in your main folder - trying to load the custom textures. - Try cleaning up your main folder back to a clean install.

As to No. 4 - the compiler gets temperamental sometimes ;) - make sure you have the .NET framework, and post any errors you're getting - as StYder pointed out. Chances are its cropped up before and people will be able to help. :D

.Net and DX9 can be downloaded from microsoft. What kind of videocard do you have now?

i have no i dea how do i see what ive got and how do i instal itt the reason im asking is thant all i can see when i make a texture is black and red when im ment to see the acual wall paper lle chaulk defoult paper do i need the new graphics card downladed or what
