I'm pretty sure that this has been covered, but I don't have the time to search for it on here right now. So a link to the right thread or tutorial from someone would be much appriciated (or just a "Yah you can do it." or "Nope, forget it buddy." would help:

Can you import textures from COD and CODUO and use them in COD2? Reason I asked is that I'm making a nice mansion. But all the textures in COD2 are dingy or war damaged (all maps were war torn cities or towns). I remembered in the first COD there was textures for like the Chateau, nice carpets, drapes, mable floors, etc.
I know I'd have to include the textures in the IWD file for the map to work and display correctly on someone elses computer.
Here's hoping it can be done!

Yes it can be done :)
Decals and alpha blend textures are tricky.
But i have successfully ported over normal vcod textures.

note that you should watch at the least 101 and 102 as there is an error in 101 which is explained in 102
