A woman drank herself to death drinking water during a radio station's competition to win a Wii by seeing how much contestants could drink before going to the toilet. The challenge ended in disaster when 28-year-old Jennifer Strange was killed by "water intoxication". She was hoping to win a console for her three children. A work colleague said Ms Strange left her job and went home sick because her head was "hurting real bad". She was later found dead at her home by her mum. Scooby, I doubt it was their intention this would happen. They idea was just a joke, which unfortunately ended in tragedy, nothing more.

Wow. Although people need to understand that whether you're talking about prescription medicine, carrots, water, etc. it can all be dangerous depending on amount.

A) Did her kids get the wii? Article never says. B) She deserved it... couldn't wait till March for more shipments or Ebay it... or even wait for the PC emulator to be finished.

Damn, that really sucks. That's weird though isn't it? Some people can never get enough water, some people die from it.

If only the radio station took a few seconds to google "too much water"... their first hit on google would be titled : "Water Intoxication & Hyponatremia".
