Your getting into expert levels of scripting now, it's not just a matter of a simple one word variable you need to do this.

The engine has embeded codes, and the gametype scripts look at MOD (Means Of Death) states from the engine, it can also track the inflictor(person who caused some damage or death)

To state that "so and so" killed someone you would need to hook into the stock MOD states and get the inflictor so you know who to name on the screen.

go over the gametype (dm for instance) scripts.. in there they use it. See how they did it.

ok I found this,
CodeCallback_PlayerKilled(eInflictor, eAttacker, iDamage, sMeansOfDeath, sWeapon, vDir, sHitLoc, timeOffset, deathAnimDuration)
{
self endon("disconnect");
[[level.callbackPlayerKilled]](eInflictor, eAttacker, iDamage, sMeansOfDeath, sWeapon, vDir, sHitLoc, timeOffset, deathAnimDuration);
}

how does it work.. I seriously dont understand.
