why are there so few releases of SP maps? ive looked all over the net an the only decent map i can find (other than my own of course ) is that one by leon.. this forum proves there are heaps of people making maps so why are so few on the net?

I am making one right now, but with school and other obligations I am having a hard time finding time to work on it latley. Hopefully it will not take much longer.

One of my MP maps I am planning on having SP as well. With work and family commitments (as I guess most of us do) it takes time so haven't even got close to testing let alone completing. I would have liked my MP maps finished months ago ! It'll happen. Bit like my NZ Stockcar (search youtube, full contact racing, AWESOME! ! Heres A Link Believe me, it hurts!)...Been sitting the garage for almost 5 years now. I raced it 6 years ago before starting the rebuild - Might race it this year, maybe next. It'll happen ! As long as were learning something new and enjoying what were doing - Its all worth it In the mean time - We can appreciate and admire other peoples work that gets release - MP or SP.

i have done two sp maps for coduo up to now...now im working on a third one, this time for cod2... it's a pretty huge map...im finished the mapping part, now i'm scripting it (that's the hardest part....that's why not so many sp maps are released...takes a lot of patience and some good understanding of the scripting language to make things look good and feel like a great cinematic battle...) anyway, if you are patient enough, very soon you will get to play my Leningrad map...which i think is gonna be the first cod2 sp custom map that features squad based battles... you can get a glimpse of it here on my website wish me luck, it's looking and feeling great up to now edited on Jan. 12, 2007 05:18 am by babycop
