Hello all, ive always had a question about photo shop, in certain sigs u see a line going through only the test, like left through right, for example this sig. I don't want the shine i just want a simple white line through, can someone please show me or find a tutorial for me.

heres an example, the line through the name. i can make the line move but i cant make it hid behind the text

in Photoshop you can make a layer semi transparent, or make it so only the text is "solid" while the rest of that layer is empty and thus transparent.

eeuuhhmm... google for "photoshop transparent layers" or something like that. You're bound to come up with stuff that will help you. Or look for a photoshop help forum. We're a gaming website, not a photoshop website.

Hopefully this will help without going crazy.

That line is an image. The user probably selected that area of the image the filled it in with a color. But it's possible that it came from another image.

That image or filling was done in a new layer. Note the layers tab in the bottom right tool window in photoshop (window name is Layers). At the top of this window is "Opacity". adjust that percentage to make it look like what you see above.
