My personal opinion is that you should ditch AGEIA PhysX (which is going to choke most peoples computers unless they have an AGEIA PhysX card) for the time being & concentrate on making the game look good... In my opinion the only thing that looks good in those screenshots is the water (& I take it that the engine is doing that)... How long has this game been in production for now?

Why would it choke people computers? We arent using agiea for everything. Only stuff like cloth and when we need to render particles. This game has been in production for 3 months, and yes the engine is rendering the water.

Well the only hope that would help with a no lag game wouldn’t necessarily be the computer but the way the network code has been constructed and the way it will handle all the static objects, you don’t want the server sending tons of data to the client about static objects because it will result in lag and unplayable game, you want the server to be only sending when players leave or join a game ect you dont want the game sending information for static objects like buildings that dont do anything but sit there because that will be a waste of bandwidth for the client and the server. Also the best trick with detail would be to make low poly tanks, weapons ect and just detail the textures, its what Blizzard did with WoW, we don’t care about the size it’s the quality that matters.
