Can someone please explain to me how to make a .arena file, and what all needs to go into it. I followed the tutorial, however it still isnt showing up in game under the menu. And after I have the arena file, how do I get the actual map idw file, so I can like send to people to put into their main so they can run the map? Please help! Very much appreciated!!!

First of all, please post your .arena file
For instance, heres what one should look like


mp_yourmapname.arena

{
	map			"mp_youmapname"
	longname	"Yourmapfinalname"
	gametype	"dm"
}

Change the map name and gametype appropriatly
Make sure that your arena file is inside its own folder in main called
"mp"
a common mistake is how people put it in the maps/mp folder

Also when in game, make sure you have your gametypre set accordingly

Theres a nice tutorial on making the .IWD file
It works well, only takes a minute or so
