I saw it late Saturday and loved it.

Absolutely brilliant. Craig really worked well as Bond. Though it was more serious than previous Bond's, it still had that comic relief when it really needed it, giving the audience some much needed oppurtunity to laugh off the tension.

A tad long by average movie standards, but worth it. Besides that, the DB9 made a great Bond car, I loved the way the poker scenes were filmed, and the opening sequence with the Chris Cornell song was great (mainly because the Cornell song is awesome).

Overall, a great way to start a new chapter in the Bond series.

Harles?  How did you get in to see Casino Royale?  Did you go with your parents?

I sure hope you didn't pay to see Happy Feet and then sneak into the CR theater...

I would never....

pay 10 dollars for a ticket with the words "Happy Feet" printed on it :p

It was a rather...interesting movie going experience, but for other reasons entirely :;):

Dude, Happy Feet owns.  Not only do you sound like you're insane when you describe it to people ("It's about singing and tap-dancing penguins"), but it's also quite funny.  Good date movie.  Which is why I invited this girl I'm interested in to come see it with a smaller bunch of us than the first time.  Yes, it was stupid of me to have a group for that one, but whatever.  I'll let you all know how it goes.

Each film really is a stand alone film

Exactly.

That is why the "look at James Bond" argument doesn't work when people are debating whether or not recasting James T. Kirk is a good idea.

Indeed.

Although to me, Bond has no age.  :)
