hey can anyone reccomend the best mouse or controller to use for sof as i am struggling with te keyboard buttons, whats the bet keyboard configuration.
any advice will be usefull cheers.

lol, that is a matter of personal preferance
i have a Logitech MX1000 mouse, and love it
and my keyboard config usualy centeres arround
SEDF for movement
space jump
g crouch
t reload
and the likes

I use the Logictech G5 mouse (just bought actually) an works great. As for controls I dont use default keys at all. I use the arrow keys for movement.

up - jump
left- step left
right - step right
down - move back
kp_end - reload
kp_ins - crouch

mouse left button - fire
mouse right button - forward
mousewheel - alt fire - works as zoom in sniper mode
mousewheel down - next weapon - zoom out
mousewheel up - previous weapon - zoom in

I hope noone still uses' them but a roll-ball mouse will not work, Opticle or nothing. Though I know a chick who uses a gamepad for SOF2 an she's really good with it too.
