I liked the part near the end where the elections officer realised how easy it was to hack the system and she broke down and started crying. they're all like" why are you crying?" and she goes (something like).... "there are people out there trying to safeguard our democracy and we laugh at them. we call them conspiracy nuts, and we call them crazy. but they're NOT CRAZY AT ALL!! BWAAAA!! SOB!"(the truth hurts) |

laugh it up. while the republicans win congress with 51% of "the vote" (as usual) -======- personally I find it "funny" that every US election for the last six years ended with "50%+1" for the winning side. most two-party-systems don't work that way. when the public backlashes against the sitting government, in canada for example, the result is always a landslide. (watch the video: Kerry admitted in a conference call that he was conceding because it was rigged. his staff was shocked) but thats ok you just keep laughing <--- (that in itself is part of the joke) |

the most damning evidence is ~1:02 there's an .exe file imbedded into every Diebold memory card which responds to incoming data (changes the vote-count in real time) it can be programmed to give any result. the hacker in the video took ten minutes to alter one of the memory cards, and then gave it back to the elections officials, who used it to test their systems. it gave false results and the elections officials all broke down in tears: they proved the memory cards ALONE are capable of falsifying an election and nobody would ever know. its worth your time to watch it. |

| Quote (George W Carver @ Nov. 07 2006, 6:09 am) | | Did Diebold from the start aim to sabotage the election process. |
Diebold makes the systems that the customer wants. elected governments across the US buy their systems and install them in their counties because they have control ove rthe results. watch the video: in Maryland its the democrats who want electronic voting and its the replblicans who want to put a stop to it. in Florida its the republicans who want it, and the democrats who argue against. both sides know how it works; both sides participate; both sides know the voting machines are hackable. Diebold is just a "vendor" who sells both sides exactly what they want: an electronic voting system that is programmable to yield any result. its what EVERy sitting government wants. people with power are always afraid to lose it. --> (supply and demand) |

I will try to watch it later. It certainly sounds interesting... It is all a legit documentary, right? Is there anything that shows the other side? In the meantime: http://video.google.com/videopl....+sneeze |
