Oh man, I may not be out of the woods...

I just noticed something weird... I was checking the size of my 'temp' folder (under Documents and Settings), and when I right clicked on the folder and chose 'properties,' there was a terrible clicking noise from my HD.  I could hear and feel it.  It happens every time I do that.  But if I do the same thing to other folders on C: (like 'Windows,' which is actually bigger) nothing happens.  No clicks.
Same for anything on D:, which is on the same physical drive.

Other than that, I haven't heard any clicking during normal use (Photoshop, Illustrator, Internet, etc)

What does that mean?

That's fixable, right?  I mean, you can have it block them off and not use them, right?  Should I run scandisk?

I ran the 'Error-checking' by right-clicking on the drive.  I checked 'Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors.'  It went through 4 'phases' and said it was completed... but nothing after that.  Should I Check the other option and have it run on restart?
