Sure, I've got lots of old crappy PCs lying around.  But I could do stuff w/ that old system... esp. since it's just barely slower than what I'm using right now.

I'm running a single 6800 GTOC PCI-E but I've got an SLI-mobo.  I'm thinking of picking up another off ebay and running dual.

xfx 6800xt 256mb
ezcool 600w psu
m/s 5000 k/board and mouse
and a new thermaltake case
this pretty lot cost about £400 (us$700)
add to this me old h/ds
2 x 160 maxtors and a wd 250 sata
a lite dvdwriter and and msi dvdrom

its a fast bugger now i,ve got over the slight teething problems which was a loose sata connection its great to be back with a desk top.
the 6800xt card will last me while i save for a better video card at the moment thats a 7900gt card but you know vga cards its like changing your underwear

I haven't changed mine in well over a year and a half.  Video card that is...

I'm hoping to get my comp fixed. Laptops just don't work well for any games really
