This kinda stuff is so...wrong.
I can't imagine what it would be like to be in a situation like that.
Here's hoping all the injured make full recoveries.

I also hope that some radical parent's group doesn't try and blame this on "rock & roll music" if they find a Slayer album in one of the shooter's cd player's or something. That kind of sentiment really, really annoys me.

:s10: A faction of society blames teen crime on video games in general, and violent video in particular. But I agree with you that to blame this sort of thing on "Rock & roll music" and Heavy Metal Music is just stupid and bugs the crap out of me.

I wouldn't blame it on that no, but that said, I do acknowledge that young people are impressionable and media can be influential. I don't think playing FPS makes you a killer by all means no (otherwise I would be several times over :p ) but it is unhealthy to be obsessed with it.

one of the injured has died.

and there was only one shooter, killed by police. they are looking for a second suspect.
(initial reports said up to four shooters, but that turned out to be wrong. it might have just been the one guy)

It was indeed just one guy...  And what prevent a biggest bloodbath is the fact that they were some police officers around (for another call not related to the shootings) when the shoothing began.  When they heard the gun shots they ran where they came from.  When they arrived, the man was shooting everything in his path.  They shot him down, thus preventing many more deahts.  I don't even want to think about what would have happen if the police officers weren't around...

But the humans won't stop there. They'll make bigger boards and bigger nails, and soon, they will make a board with a nail so big, it will destroy them all!
