Have anyone had any luck setting up and debugging using Microsoft Visual Studio 7 (VS 2003) ?

I'm having problems setting up the debug profile....

Ive set it up in vs 6 & 8.. never used 7 but it shouldnt be much different.  What do you mean problems setting up the debug profiles? What sort of problems do you mean ???

The problem is really setting it up and get it running through VS. I compile it and the dll go to the mods folder but from then on I have no luck.

How do YOU do it ?

Ahh.. ok.  You need to setup your project command line arguments its sounds like.

Select the project your are going to build then goto properties (project->properties)

Now you will need to set the values in
-Configuration Properties
  -Debugging

Heres a sample of what I use:

Command:                  sof2mp.exe
Command arguments:   +set fs_game rpm +set vm_game 0 +set vm_cgame 0 +set vm_ui 0 +set dedicated 0 +set sv_mapcycle mapcycle.cfg +mapcycle +set sv_maxclients 32 +set g_respawninterval 1 +set g_backpackrespawn 1 +set sv_fullscreen 0
Working Directory:        D:\Games\Sof2\

The rest use default settings.

Now you should be able to 'start debugging' (F5) and it will fire up the game.

Also, if you use SOF2MP as your startup project it will allow you to debug all of your other projects at once.  Otherwise you will be debugging each project individually.

Do you make it put the dll in the SOF2 folder or in the RPM folder ?

Dll output is the mod folder (RPM in my case).

okay guys i have got the Microsoft Visual 6.00 butt its in german :(
is there on the web some lagauge pack or something...?
i have searched the web with no results.
maybe someone of you have got this pack or knows the link to it :D
