Hi, I just bought the Quake4 game it's really cool but i wanna know something my pc config. quake with 1.3 patch P4E 3Ghz HT 2gigs ram hyperX (512 in dual)x2 Diamond Viper radeonx1600pro512mb agp Is it normal that when i switch "shadows" to "on" i get horrible laggs? everything else is set to "on" and AA to x4 (doesn't work above x4, i tried but game gets back to default again) I have the graphics set to "high" and it works fine, do you think i could try "Ultra Quality" setting ? And should I put "yes" to "multiple CPU/core" ? Thx for your help

Switch off the AA, turn on the shadows, all in High Quality at 1024x768 (you can even try in Ultra Quality). Your Pc is not multiple core so don't activate this option. I have a similar config and Quake 4 runs very well
