Shouldn't you be the oldest if you miss the ~Sept. cut-off? I had a friend the same age who was born a month later than me and was a grade behind...
*shrug* |
Well, maybe it wasn't september back then. That's the only thing I can think of. I was never accelerated or anything. I did start kindergarden at 4 years old, I know that. |

Quote (Agent007 @ Aug. 29 2006, 7:43 am) | Okay, so I just recently became 'legal' when it comes to alcohol. (remember, I don't celebrate birthdays, so no need to wish me a happy one)
Question is, what should I try first? I'm not a big fan of alcohol, but it's obviously still a novelty, so I'll take suggestions.
So far, I've sipped beer, and I don't like that. And I had a can of cheap sake in Japan, and didn't like that either. So I think I'll be sticking to the chick drinks. Heh.
Anyway, enlighten me, you drunks. |
I think you should revisit the beer and sake thing. BeerThere are a bazillion kinds of beer out there. Do you remember what kind you tried and didn't like? There are options. Get yourself a variety pack of some sort and get a few kinds of beer. Here's a starter list from very dark and heavy to light with some suggestions you should be able to get: stout - Guiness - it's the standard. So smooth and filling. porter - Anchor Steam from Sanfrancisco. Less heavy than the Guiness but very rich taste. pale ale/amber ale - there is a huge variety here so just look for a local microbrew. These are heavier beers with more flavor but are still "see through" IPA - I like Bridgeport from Oregon. This will have a lot of hops so may be a bit bitter. Not everyone goes for this one but I think it's good on a hot day lager - this is usually a standard american beer like a BUdweizer or Miller is. They have an amazing ability to sell pee-pee in a can to people. I don;t understand. Try a German brand hefewiezen - this is a light wheat beer. It's often unfiltered (cloudy) and served witha lemon in restaurants. Served ice cold it's very refreshing. Much lighter flavor than lager. SakeDon;t be cheap. Next time you go to a Japanese restaurant, try a "cold" sake. The ones served ones are usually the higher quality ones. The heat up the cheap ones to improve their taste. Here's a short primer: Sake Primer You should be able to find a ginjo sake. Cheers, Pork |

Well, you wouldn't be interested in that anyway... |
She was never called that by her handlers, just by her number, X5-452, or obviously, referenced by her barcode: 332960073452.

Well, we were very close. |
