The only time I've ever used a soldering iron was to put some weathering/battle damage onto my falcon model.

If you've never used contacts before, I can't see just using them temporarily as very convenient.  I don't even want to mess with them.  I don't like touching my eye.

Anyway, I may have to solder some paperclip support struts on this sucker...  It's about to get much geekier... :s8:

The only time I used mine before was to solder together an IR receiver for Winamp.  What does that make me? :s8:

Bah.  The solder always weakens.  No matter how good it is to begin with, it eventually snaps.  I just spent an hour on it, and while I could always resolder it, it's not worth the trouble, and I can't seem to get any good support for it.  It's in a really bad spot.
Ah well.  Looks like I'm gonna have to go a few days au naturale...  Eye-wise, that is. :p
