Well I thought I would give you guys an update on what is going on with my health. I have had my headache for 3 weeks solid now, not a day with out it, the MRI was clear. So I had to have a blood test, now that showed something, so I have to go and have a liver function test, also im booked in to go and see a neurologist.
So that is were I'm at, at the moment.

what did the blood show up then? and we can only hope its nothing serious and that itll be gone in a couple of weeks.

I've read about the liver function test, it should give the neurologist a idea just where to look to find out just what is wrong.

Yeesh.  Sorry to hear that.  I hope whatever it is, it's not serious and it can be treated/cured.

What does a liver function test entail exactly? How do they test your liver?

did they at least tell you what they found and/or what they suspect they're dealing with?

My advice: if they do decide to tell you what they suspect/know, ask them to explain it in detail.  When my dad had cancer I went online and looked up the specific type and everything - very scary/depressing.  The internet is great, but it is a cold, uncaring voice when dolling out medical information.

from the research I've done just now, I wouldn't say this is going to be any type of cancer. it turns out, a simple liver dysfunction can actually cause the headaches in question.  the blood test probably showed higher-than-normal concentrations of toxins that the liver is supposed to filter out.  if thats the case, then they'll treat the liver and the headaches will go away. they'll probably give you a list of things to stay away from (like alcohol ).
