When I load up the EF Holomatch the game menu is very, very dark.
When I go in to the video settings to adjust the brightness the slider only works for the first centimeter, after I pass the 20% mark, it does not get any brighter, like it does in single player.

What must be the problem?
Any of you encountered this?

It's a WinXP thing.  Google it.  It's VERY common, and fixed w/ a CVAR or something.

Yeah, I spent the last 30 minutes looking for it.
But I can not find anything that seems to help.

I found;
/r_gamma 1
seta r_ignorehwgamma 1

but both do nothing to fix low, low, low gamma.

Agent, nihongo wo hanasu ka?

Everybody has had this problem at one point or another.

I can't remember the exact command off the top of my head.
Try /r_mapoverbrightbits 0 (or maybe 1)

For some reason Windows XP  is very finicky about Gama, you can have the same setting one time it wont work..the next time it will. You just have to keep at it till it works.
