So what you really fear, Cobalt, is someone failing to be correct in their judgements?  You're afraid that people with authority will make mistakes?  That they'll be *gasp* human?  Talk about irrational fears.  :old8:

We are all are human* we all make mistakes including people in authority* the main boss at work just over reacted to a situation at work...he is human...he makes mistakes...he is in authority... hopefully he can learn by his mistakes. The old boss couldn't thats why he got transferred

What I fear isn't someone in authority making a misstake...
It's such person to be unable to accept he did a misstake, take no action to fix such misstake, and deepen his misstake to prove it wasn't one.

Isn't it ironic...dontcha think?  :D

on the contrary.  I trust humans to make mistakes.  thats why I don't trust humans.

(I'll take the dog, anyday. at least it hasn't got an agenda. or a scowl like that dude in the picture)  :p

((its not that guy's "mistakes" that I'm afraid of ; its his motivations))

I'd say it's more likely that it's not the Gatorade that they're afraid of, its the fact that it could be NITRO GLYCERINE in the bottle!

You know, one has to question why this was never done before?  I mean, if it's so easy to bring stuff like this on planes prior to 9/11 then why was it never done?

The woman was still at the airport late Thursday afternoon but was not under arrest, said FBI spokesman Jeff Killeen.

Bwa?  She carries on material that is positive for explosives and she isn't arrested?  So if she wasn't arrested then they must not have been intentionally explosive objects right?  You know, like highly flammable facial cleaner.  I don't know about you guys, but something seems odd.
If the chemical is dangerous enough to warrent detonating it, then it can't be a commercially sold product (unless it's been bypassed by the FDA).  If it's not commercially sold, then it must be illegal so said woman should be arrested.  But she wasn't.  Soo... what's going on?
