my headaches come from caffiene. from (both) 'too much', and 'not enough'. I walk that fine line on a daily basis. p.s I hope its nothing serious Corridale. hospitals give me the creeps

Thanx guys. Had my blood test this morning, I seriously hate them, as normally I pass out, but today I did not, so I was rather proud of myself. Now just have to wait till monday for the results

@Corridale I hope you feel better soon.

You can sometimes get a headacke from falling a sleep in a hot room. You can wake up with a headacke.
BTW my old boss drank 10+ cups of coffee a day, and he suffered from...the least offensive was being a annoying pest.

thats because he drank coffee. he had no idea what his dose was. coffee sucks. ten cups could be anywhere from 500-1000mg of caffiene. I drink 2 sobe arush per day @ 80mg each (a can of coke is about 40-45mg). I got it down to a science.

It depends what kind of medical test it is.

I'd say for probably almost all of them, you can get the results back straight away (like the images and numbers or whatever), but that isn't the point. What you're paying for also includes the specialist analysis of whatever it is and that takes time. Especially if they aren't sure of what they are looking for.

That's for Australia anyway, but that's what I was told when I asked why I couldn't get them straight away to save a trip back

It is the same over here as well, but the doc wants me to come in on monday so we can talk about the results, instead of me just calling in to get them.
