I want to disable the custom outfitting screen and make it only possible to select existing outfitting(like commando,grunt,thug).

lso I would like to add more categories. (medic) as it is possible, with the help of some "spells" to attack and heal. Does anyhone have a clue?

Make the medic setup much like bf2.
Setup a radius around the medic that will heal
Let the medic drop health packs
Use something similar to the Target Chat (crosshair over) for healing or revives.

You would need to balance out the other classes as well and make it so having a medic follow you around isnt like god mode.

Check the WOLFET source.  They use class outfitting and medics which is basically what you would want.

Post some screens or something here, so that we can see what ravensoft have could putt into sof2

When is that 1 day..???

i am even trying to add that, with a simple server side cmd for letting the server have this,

i think the only thing you need to do is, adding a new outfitting menu called "Specialty" or soemthing in that trend,.
Becasue you have got already a thing were can select your outfitting.

And then you need to make it that the peeps who shows medic that they can drop health packages, and peeps who select armory or something that they can drop ammo.

i am trying to make this for my own mod, so there will be soon some screens here of it ( i hope so... )

i have looked in the WOLFET source, like sweatingBullets have post here.

i just have typed in the search bar for "medic" it was way too much, in every file was "Medic"  :s6: so i leave that behind and stating to make my 4 teams.
and making new gametypes for it.,

so you guys will see soon here scoreboards and huds and #### with 4 teams   :D

i think if i have released this version of  my mod i will mange to add the medic and ammo thing,. and it will been set even with a simple cmd in the gametype file.
