And he was lucky. I almost showed the receiver.
So congress is right, there are only sick ####ers on myspace  :p

Troubled children? It *is* Myspace's fault! :)

Myspace can be dangerous for young kids who use it...

And uh, Thilo...  I don't think you should be linking to that image...

*Carver Quicky Agree with that.

Now I'd believe the internet preditors part, but that's really ture of any web site that has any kind of personal info.
several months ago, a friend of mine had some guy stalking her because he was able to get lots of stuff like address & phone # off myspace and facebook.

I think it has been noted already that they have security leaks, Credit card numbers etc.

MySpace can me dangerous, yeah...but so can, well, anything on the internet. They should be trying to educate the kids on safety, rather than finding someone to blame.

^^Agreed.  The world is a scary place and if your going to be afraid of people on MySpace, you might as well stay in your room for the rest of your life.

It is surprising and frightening how quick people are to give away their personal data. I am not only speaking about myspace but also about data collectors that get your contact information address etc. if you participate in a game where you can win some silly stuff.
I wish the DNS system with whois info would be a little more secret about your personal data :/

As to the image i linked to: I'm sorry, I didn't think about the < 18 audience on this forum and the cultural differences :) (One usually isn't ashamed of nudity here)
As to replacing the image on my server, I am not sorry. This guy cost me > 30 euros. I am free to name files on my webspace to my liking and upload any content i like. I didn't modify his profile, he used the link in the first place.
Luckily my provider upgraded the traffic plan by now so traffic is of no issue anymore.

I'm almost 21, and I don't want to see that...  You should've known better by now... But whatever.  It's edited out.  *shrug*

I didn't find the image particularly disgusting or bad. Just a guy with a big..... but it's nature, it's nothing to be ashamed of.
I *did* want to create a certain shock effect back then. Everyone who knows goatse knows I could have used the other picture that is infinitely worse than this one which I decided not to do for exactly the reason you didnt want the first one in the first place.
