Anybody else play it yet?  That is some crazy messed up stuff right there.  My head nearly exploded at one point.  Pretty cool though.

It was different. Multi directional gravity, out of body experieces, death system where you don't just start from the last save point  all the time, making fun of minorities, and a juke box that can play a song that isn't loaded into it. Too bad it suffers from the Doom 3 effect. By which I mean everything is laminated. Anyway the demo made me deside to wait till the user reviews start comming in before I look at it again. Unless of course a new demo comes out. Which is sad because so far it has shown me things that I have been wanting to see in a game since Quake 3. Oh well. Its not that I didn't throughly enjoy my playtime.
I havn't tried the multiplayer portion yet.

Explain the minority and the jukebox thing, Species.  Curious about the first, and didn't understand the second.

I've played it. And... it's pretty fun. But you should judge for your selves. "Making fun of minorities," you play as a Native American, Cherokee, to be precise. The jukebox Species8472 refers to is in the openning bit, where you can change the song on a jukebox in the bar, at the beginning. All in all, it was pretty cool. The gravity shifts, the portals, are pretty cool gimmicks. It's definately worth a look.

Man did I love that demo.

Awesome gameplay, awesome unique usage of so many technologies, and a storyline that is very interesting, in my opinion.  

Despite what it looks like, it sure as heck isn't a Doom 3 clone, it's very unique, and does things you haven't seen before in any FPS.

I liked it so much after playing it at E3, I volunteered to run Prey Files...heh.

At the beginning you're inside of a bar, and there's a kind of jukebox on the wall that lets you listen to real songs while the story progresses, from artists such as Ted Nugent and others that I can't remember because I listened to Ted Nugent mainly...heh

The best part happens when the aliens come and abduct you...the jukebox automatically starts playing Blue Oyster Cult's "Don't Fear The Reaper," which is hilariously appropriate as you're being transported onto their ship...

Oh, okay.  Heh.

I was just wondering what he meant about the minorities...  Personally, I think people are too sensitive about that kinda stuff.  Unless it's blatant...

Well, you play as a Cherokee on a reservation, and your girlfriend works at a bar, where two drunks sometimes make ethnic slurs about her heritage...I guess that's really about it, and not bad at all, in my opinion...
