I recommend the original copy.. here: http://www.amazon.com/exec....=UTF8.. new from $24.95 with the gold patch: http://www.amazon.com/exec....ng=UTF8 ..new from $39.94!! go with the original and save yourself $15, then download the gold patch for free, and you can have both 1.00 and 1.03 on your drive.. since 1.00 is still popular it would be a sin to waste $15 extra not to have it |

you lucky brova.. no wonder there are so many dutch players/servers. Here in Denmark we can only hope to catch the shadow of one at the reselling stores, where the cdkey is ripped and raped twice. lol I play an old copy from 2002, and then have an unopened, infact from Amazon, hanging on the wall alongside my other "trophies" that I consider art! but I remember paying around $18 on Amazon back then, so I take it the price variates alot depending on which company selling it, of course. So if the price is too high now, I guess you can hope for one, more satisfying in near future |

| Quote (GODh @ June 20 2006, 2:08 pm) | | Here in The Netherlands (europe) lots of shops are still selling SOF2 for apx 10 euro (12 us dollar?)... |
what GODh said I also noticed those copy's still get sold btw, weird that it doesn't get distributed that much elsewhere, since the case is just plain english and could be distributed anywhere over europe (expect germany maybe, because of their laws on blood). Btw, the reason there are relatively many dutch servers is because of the internet-infrastructure i believe. Netherlands is a good location geoghraphically to have your server located. |

Well my logic sense tells me that stores rather buy new games that are more graphically on point with todays standart.. than tryin to distribute 4-5 year old games considered somewhat nearly done for.. but I take it SoF2 still makes a market in Holland.. | Quote | | Btw, the reason there are relatively many dutch servers is because of the internet-infrastructure i believe. I find it hard to believe the geographic location plays such a big role as you make it out to be, considering ping is nearly the same all across Europe. I find it more likely that the price on servers has something to do with it. and I know that "Bened.org" is very popular at the moment price wise, though it still doesn't explain the many dutch players on board. And that I know since I once payed a hosted server in the U.S, and ended up with 4 dutch members although pingin' 150.. that says alot, plus the various servers I play on is visited by mostly dutch people.. I guess you just love sof2 don't ya? ..either that or it's the low price appealing to your attention |
