I am looking for good wireless router to replace D-link Di-624.  I not sure if I could get D-link DGL-4300 gaming router to reduce lag problems.  But only two things kept me doubt about purchasing it is customer reviews mentioned reboot problems and costs $150.  Reboot problem is why I had to replace old router.  Tweaks, tech support and firmware upgrades dont help solve the reboot problem.  Also old router's no. 1 and 4 ports failed.
I mainly use wireless router for Nintendo DS's Wi-Fi with Metroid Prime Hunters and Tetris DS, internet access for mother's laptop, security features and VP-100, a special device for hearing-impaired ppl.
I perfer latest router with application supports like PC games and advanced security features (WEP is required for Nintendo DS). If you know or own good wireless router than DGL-4300, I am open to suggestions.

I going to shopping for new router tomorrow perhaps around afternoon.

And do you know any tips or tweaks to reduce the lag problems in PC games?  I going to host Halo CE under my 'mods'.

I don't know any specific models, but I would look at Linksys. They make top-notch stuff. I've never had a problem with any of their products.

Stay away from netgear

I was going to get a NetGear NIC, but I read some more reviews and got a 3com NIC instead.

I've been using a Microsoft MN-700 for a couple years now.  Required a firmware update, but it's been great ever since.

I have an older D-Link router. It works fine after set up, but if you need to change settings often... well the webserver seems to crash a lot.

(EDIT - well it's not a wireless router either. I'm using an Apple Airport extreme for that. Works fine, but you can more than likely get something just as good for cheaper)

Well, I dont know much about routers since DI-624 is my first router to deal with.  NetGear routers dont seen much interest to me.
I read some reviews on DGL-4300 router and I'll give it a try.

Get a Linksys WRT54G.  There are alot of versions of it by now.  I suppose they're all fine... lots of replacement firmwares avaliable for this thing.
