Trailer

I'll have to watch the movie before I pass final judgement on Craig being Bond, but in the trailer he reminded me a bit of Connery in Dr. No.  A bit physically, but more because of his attitude.

I saw the Trailer a few weeks ago when I went to see the DaVinci Code. Does not look too bad, But im with you Sandy, im going to hold off passing judgement untill I have seen it

Ok, at first glance and from a distance he does look like Sean Connery, then the eyes focus and you can see it is not.

Yeah, Craig does not look like Bond at all to me.  He may be a phenominal actor, but he just doesn't have the look, and that pulls me out of it, even in the trailer.  I'll try to reserve judgement until I see the movie, but this looks more like the Transporter with a different guy than a Bond film.

Was that the orignal Moneypenny I saw in the clip.

when i saw the trailer (also in the da vinci code) i said to myself "f*ck craig, i just wanna see a new bond movie" so i dont care, we will see how he turns out in the end

We've obviously changed Bond actors before and we grow to love the new ones. $20 bucks says in fifteen years we all complain with they get rid of the new guy because we all grew to like him as much as we liked Brosnan.

no way, i will still miss brosnan

Brosnan will always be my 'generation's Bond.  But I'm willing to be open minded and give this guy a chance.

I honestly hope they return to a little more of the realistic espionage...  Not that the Bond movies were ever really rooted entirely in reality, but the whole crazy caucasian Korean guy uses the sun to start WWIII thing was a little weird.

Looks good, but that last shot of Bond in the tux...he doesn't look too good.  Bad angle, I think.
