Ok so here is the deal.

I have a Gamespot buddy I am trying to play 1v1 maps with. He lives on the West Coast and I the East Coast, if that matters. We seem to think its on different servers. Both of us can play on other internet servers fine, and have exact versions of the game, other than some maps. But, we also dont have similar server lists. We are using XFIRE to try to connect to eachothers maps. When we try to join, it acts like its about to load, then says cant load because files are missing and canr be downloaded. But, for some reason that kind of error just isnt making sense. Please help me connect with my buddy.

We have tried everyhting fromloading from xfire to manually entering the server IPs in the Multiplayer game search.
