I'm making a family tree of King DOOM III's family. I want to know how many bothers/sisters the former King Quake III have and who they are.

Here are those games using Quake III engine which I"ve already known:

Star Trek Elite Force by Raven Software
Jedi Knight II Jedi Outcast by Raven Software
Jedi Knight Jedi Academy by Raven Software
Soldier of Fortune II by Raven Software
Heavey Metal FAKK2 by Ritual Entertainment
Star Trek Elite Force II by Ritual Entertainment
007 Nightfire by Gearbox Software
Return to Castle Wolfenstein by Gray Matter

Does Halo Combat Evolved use Q3 engine?

No, Halo used a proproietary engine.

RtCW: Enemy Territory used the Q3 engine.
Call of Duty (and Call of Duty 2?) used a modified Q3 engine.

Also I think there was a Nerf FPS that used the Q3 engine.

*edit*
That nerf game was Unreal engine based, my bad.

The Doom III engine king?  I don't know.  It's still a little early to really tell, but I think the doom 3 engine isn't as.. adapatable as the quake 3 engine is.  Then again I'm a source fan.  I guess we'll just have to see in the comming years.

Honestly I've not seen anything from the D3 engine that I thought really looked good.
Most of that is personal opinion, and art direction on the specific games so it doesn't really speak about the engine itself.
Some maps from the good ol' Q3 look nicer than alot of stuff from D3.
But like I said, that's just me.

Call of Duty 2 also used a proprietary engine.

007 Nightfire didn`t use the Quake 3 engine, it used a modified Half Life engine.

Why does nobody trust Wiki?  It's not as if new games are still coming out with the Q3 engine that might not be on that list I posted.

I call DOOM III "king" simply because he's the descendent of the original DOOM who was really the "King" in that time. That's how a King is made. It doesn't mean DOOM III has the best engine.  :)
