I refuse to pay for this thing.

If it wasn't for the Xbox Live Marketplace, horse armor, along with the orrery, would have been a free download or better yet, included with the game (Bethesda admits that the horse armor was DONE before the game shipped).
It's another trickle down effect. PC players getting screwed and having to pay for what would otherwise be free because this game also came out on the 360.
Don't get me wrong, its an awesome game, but it seems almost everyone of it's flaws can be traced back to development for the 360.
Since release, Bethesda has pumped out these pay to play mods at a surprising pace, yet no final patch has been released. I could care less about horse armor and an hour long new quest when a patch would rectify many of the bugs and glitches in the game.

One my Favorite mods has to be Slof's horses Base (horses look much nicer) & Essential (tag you horse as essential so it won't die )
