After doing a bit of googling, the error seems to refer to overclocking (Thus OC). Most of the sites which I have seen give the same info, reset the bios back to factory settings.

What BK said...  In your BIOS you'll have something like "Factory Defaults" or "Setup Defaults" or "Fail-Safe Defaults".  Hit that...

If it ran at the previous O/C then it should now.

If I fail to really clean the dust out of my rig for a long time I get that problem.

Heat builds up in a dust laden cpu.

Open it up and really clean around the cpu...  You might have dust build up in the heatink area... and even under the
heat sink area and the mobo.

Make sure everything is unplugged and really vac the board well.  Clean the fan on the graphics card.

I even wipe the thing down with a clean rag and rubbing alcohol.

There is also a potential failing power supply that will cause that problem.

Finally, a corrupted main boot record can give random issues.

First, I would clean every bit of dust out.

Anyhow, if it ran fine overclocked before it should run fine now.

Well the thing is it was never overclocked, so in theory i should not be getting the error, and last time I reset my BIOS I lost the use of my DVD drives.

So it could just be dust then?

Yeah I agree that it could possibly be a heat issue caused by too much dust. I'd definatly recommend a bios reset too, but you should certainly clean out any dust that may have built up over time as well.

Next time im out i shall be getting a can of compressed air and giving everything a going over.

As for the bios reset. Well I shall reset now and then reset them. So here goes nothing. Also for the record just because im paraniod i spent the last 30minutes copying out ALL my bios settings so if anything screws up i can fix it.

Hmm well that really did not go according to plan, im on the other PC now as my PC wont boot up agian, pics below
The first 2 images relate to IDE scanning were my DVD drives are detected, they are now on longer detected and the other pic is were windows loads up from my hard drive, as i can now no longer detect my hard drive in the bios. This problem is really starting to annoy me.

[Edit] I tried to create a boot disk on the home PC but for some reason the A drive does not seem to work. This day is going well so far  :s9:  :s9: [/Edit]

Last time after i fixed the boot disk problem the same one im having now i just dont remember how i fixed it, but i think i followed Harles instructions.
I took the PC to a mates place and got his brother to fix the DVD drive issue.
But both this issue and the last one that are the same, seemed to have started due to the ram, so should i get that replaced?

Humm, usually when I hear about RAM failing, it just doesn't work at all after it dies. I've never heard of a problem where RAM slowly 'dies' untill it is useless as you have described.. which is why I'm hesitant to think that is the source of your problem. But of course, just because I haven't heard of it before doesn't mean that it can't happen. Try looking around the web and see if anyone else has had similar problems, I'll do a quick search right now as well before I go off to bed.
