Right now I'm at school in Kentucky but I'm from the Nashville area where tornados went through today.

In the video they mention Goodlettsville, that's where I live.
Thankfully (for me) it went through several miles from my house.
They show some footage of Vol State Community College, I've taken several classes there.

The total death count stands somewhere around 7 to 10 right now.
After having spent time down in Pass Christian where the hurricane went through this seems small but I'm sure it doesn't to the residents in those neighborhoods shown.

Do you know anybody whos house was in the tornados path.

Sorry to hear it hit so close to home, and it's unfortunate to hear about anyone losing their lives.

Thankfully I live in the upper reaches of Tornado Alley, but we still do get them from time to time... And they are one thing that definitely scares me.

I hate tornados. We don't get them often here, but one did hit Salt Lake City back in the late 1990's, and hearing about it I was scared and shocked.

found out today that some friends from my church lost their homes.
The death count is up to 12 I think.
As far as I know, noone I know has died.
[edit]Just found out, a local church, Metro Baptist, had some severe damage.
There wasn't a service going on at the time but there was about 35 kids in the daycare at the time as well as teachers.
Forutunatly the daycare wing was virtualy untouched and none of the kids had single scratch.
They said on one of the videos that the number of lives NOT lost is almost as unbelievable as the destruction.

I'm in Shelbyville, TN. The storms came through our way and rattled us pretty good, but no tornados fortunately.

If I were in a car and saw a tornado, I'd be heading AWAY from it...  At around 90MPH.
