this is really annoying me cause i have no idea what started it. i know i changed from a geforce4mx to a ti a while ago, maybe about the same time i donno. other than that i can't think what might of caused it :\|

I have a Ti4200 and my SOf2 crashes with driver version 84.21 and 84.25. 81.98 is most stable on my PC.

Hey there, i have the exact same problem and dont know wtf it is either I've played SoF ever since it came out and never had this. In my case, the game doesnt freeze or crash completely, but stops for 1-2 seconds when PB looks for updates (shortly after entering the game) and gives me this sick annoying sound. System: A64 3200+ - X850XT - Audigy 2 ZS - 1 GB Geil I've reinstalled twice, updated PB manually, turned off my firewall, all whithout any result... All i can say, its defenitely a PB problem.

I dont think your problem is the same as the 1st problem. Afaik everyone has small hickups when PB is doing its thing, but on some pc's it seems to be "somewhat" worse (small stop)... here are some ppl having the same problem, but i dont see a real solution yet

Yes ure right, PB always produces small hickups, its just that theyre not SMALL anymore Anyway, thx for the link, thats exactly what im talkin about. It didnt really help but at least it makes me feel better, that others have this problem too I have reported the problem to PB aswell, hope they fix it in the near future, the noise really doesnt sound healthy for my ears and speakers. Btw, nice to see that there are still active members in this forum. I havent been here for a long time... SoF seems to die slowly, not many good servers left to play on. RAVENSOFT! Sucks about you guys problem. I get sof2mp.exe crashs' to desktop alot. I've been kicked in the past for the MD5Tool error but that's all PB an has been fixed since. Hopefully Evenbalance will do something to help fix out the issues, but you never can be too sure for this game, being there's not much more support for this game as it is.
