Yeah, but you can't easily change what's in there.

hmm...
I'll put some thought to the frame thing.
but for now there's been a new twist.
I'm in a web programing class and our final project is to build a website useing all the stuff we learned in class.
Since that's what I've been doing with this site since the begining of the semester, I'm going to use it for my project.
And the project requires useing frames as well as CSS & Javascript.
So for now I'm going to leave the frames and add some stuff so that it will fit with the assignment.

[edit]also, what do yall think of the main page with the border?
Ya think it still needs something on the lower half?

with the new border and everything it looks much better definately
in the empty space you could maybe put an image of something that is set into stone... i dunno what :p but ti think something that is set into the background stone would look neat.

Yeah, it definately looks better w/ the border.
How about adding some color, though?  The plain black text is a little boring... Maybe an engraved effect or something.

engraving on the text?
My original intention was to have color but when it came down to it I couldn't really come up with anything.
If you have any specific suggestions I'd be happy to hear them.

And I'm definatly going to have some sort of image carved in the blank area there, but I'm still not entirly sure what yet, or how I'm going to do it.

One thing I definatly want to leave flat black is the border and lines under the links. 'cause I really like that.

That's practically an oxymoron. Good thing I'm not in your class or I would be having a shouting match with your teacher.

ok, so I gave the color thing a shot. I just changed the color of the text and I also moved that lower bar around.
What ya think?

[edit]Tried the no frame thing,
Doesn't seem to be working
