So I had a conversation recently with a couple of friends in regards to buttoning up your pants and forgetting to zip them up as well.
The one female in the conversation said that she always zips up then buttons, thus never having an issue with walking around with her zipper open.
The guys in the conversation (myself included) agreed that there were just too many risks in regards to zipping before buttoning.

So then.
I pose the question to you, ravenites from around the world, how do you do it?

Keep in mind, this is assuming that you wear pants, atleast from time to time, and that the pants have a single zipper and a single button in the crotch area.
And a clasp or other hook-type restraining device would be understud to fall under the definition of 'button' as used in this post.

It'd be nice if there were more females on the board to ensure more variety of opinion, but hopefully the few that are around will not neglect this thread.

So then, vote and post!

I really had to think about this... i'm not very consistant on this 'issue,' but I think I zip first more often than not.

I do it the manly way. Button then zip.

Aw that's so cute!  Little Harles doing something manly....  :p

The manliness I think would be measured by taking larger risk.  Therefore, I usually take the more manly route and zip, then button.

In order to save time, I do both at the same time. Left hand button, right hand zipper.

I think you're more at risk for injury if you zip first then button.

Some people think it is more "Manly" to risk injury. I think is is kinda foolish to risk injury, when theres nothing to be gained. Maybe I am just over reacting.
