Hi , How do you go about setting up wwwdownloads? for sof2 DH, I've seen some links stating :
set sv_allowDownload "1"            
set sv_wwwDownload "1"              
set sv_wwwBaseURL "http://www.mywebsite/base/";              

set sv_wwwDlDisconnected "0"

I've tried it as above but cant get it to work?
any help would be great thanks

I dont think there is a mod that has http-redirect fully working (working without problems)...

Would be nice, though.  That's one of the biggest problems with mods (and even custom maps) in SoF2.

Honestly, if this idea had been around a few years ago when SoF2 was at its prime, there's no telling what the mod landscape might have looked like right now.

Heck, even a place for the server to put a message to send to download clients:
If downloads are enabled: "Now downloading XXX map, for faster downloads, visit XXX site."
If they aren't: "Please visit XXX site for custom map downloads."

Hmm , Makes me wonder why there are all these posts on the net to do this if it dont work? What people get out of BS-ing has me b*ggered? Oh well guys thanks for putting me on the right road I'll stop waisting my time now The same thing seems to have been spread about COD2 and I'll tell yas now it dont work there also !

It's doesnt work in COD2? Hmmm, i dont have that game (yet) but i am surprised to hear that as i thought it works fine in COD(1) <- havent played for months.

I read on another forum that a now-defunct SoF2 mod had this working.
Unfortunately, there's no download links available that I can find, though I'd love to get my hands on that source.

Yes not wrong ,thats the only thing wrong with this game the downloads speeds make alot of people disconnect
